On April 2, 2026, from 5:00-8:00 PM, Women's Fund El Doradoorado invites you to an evening of connection, conversation and community impact at their Ballot Showcase. As you enjoy thoughtfully prepared appetizers, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the inspiring work being done by local nonprofits and the stories behind the missions they serve. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED THURSDAY![]()
Our newest Outreach Program opportunity is in need of three high school age volunteers this Thursday from 3 to 5 pm. Mercy Housing White Rock Village in El Dorado Hills (near El Dorado Hills Town Center / Target) provides after-school programs for its youth residents. High school age Hands4Hope participants will lead games and activities, help with homework, pass out snacks, do light cleaning, and provide extra supervision. ![]()

Shelbi's Helping Hand Fund was opened by a generous local donor in 2023 to help members of the community in crisis. The fund offers a helping hand to those who otherwise have nowhere else to turn.![]()

This new clinic, located at 3443 Lake Tahoe Blvd, will help fill critical gaps in local dental care by providing affordable, accessible preventive and restorative services for children, adults, and seniors - especially for Medi-Cal recipients and underserved families.![]()

Supported by $900,000 in grants, the clinic features up to 7 dental stations and will serve up to 400 patients each month. Services include exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, extractions, limited root canals, and more.![]()

Another Endow El Dorado recipient, American River Conservancy was awarded $5,000 for its Cosumnes River Water Quality Monitoring Project which serves El Dorado County through providing meaningful scientific volunteer engagement opportunities for all ages. Since 2015, volunteers have monitored 16 sites throughout the watershed for pH, conductivity, temperature and dissolved oxygen. These measurements are uploaded to the California Environmental Data Exchange Network (CEDEN) and researchers throughout the state can access information about the stability of this river system over time.![]()
