Using data from CalFire and the CDC’s Social Vulnerability Index, our focus is on reaching underserved communities to ensure every dollar goes where it’s needed most and no one is left behind. The Wildfire Recovery Fund provides life-saving support: safe housing, mental health care, medical aid, infrastructure rebuilding, emergency communication upgrades, financial assistance, firefighter safety gear, and more. The fund also offers labor law education and immigration services for low-wage workers, as well as health education for caregivers and day laborers. ![]()

The Wickline Scholarship will be accepting applications begining 1/2/25. This scholarship was established to assist women 22 years of age and older, who reside on the western slope of El Dorado County and are furthering their careers by pursuing a post-secondary education. The Wickline Scholarship is an award of up to $2,000 distributed annually to one or more recipients. Applications are scored by financial need, personal history and completeness of application.

Today’s mission-driven leadership retreat took place at Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort. We ended the day with our friends at El Dorado & Georgetown Divide Resource Conservation Districts. We learned more about their phenomenal recovery and rehabilitation work at Sierra-at-Tahoe post Caldor Fire and were happy to help support these efforts by planting sugar pine trees on-site. We planted and planned for the future both figuratively and literally. 🌲 ![]()

The Resource Conservation Districts is doing a Placerville Wildfire Resiliency Strategy Survey, aimed at mitigating the risk of wildfires in Placerville and its surrounding communities. This project is focused on enhancing their ability to prioritize, develop, and execute large-scale projects that bolster community wildfire resilience.![]()
