Our April Client - Program Spotlight is Lorena F. and our Supported Employment Program (SEP). Lorena has been employed with Marshall Medical Center for 25 years through SEP. "Going to work makes me feel great. I love my job." Lorena's job involves organizing papers, computer skills, Zoom meeting facilitation, and answering phones. Always the professional Lorena kept her duties high level as she stated she adheres "to the highly confidential" requirements of her position. She said "I really like the people I work with. Hosted through a collaboration of local Rotary International clubs, this inspiring event brings together local high school students for a day focused on ethics, leadership, and service. Participants explored the traits of strong leaders, practiced professional etiquette, and engaged in thoughtful discussions about how to make sound decisions and lead with integrity.![]()

Mercy Housing White Rock Village in El Dorado Hills (near El Dorado Hills Town Center / Target) provides after-school programs for its youth residents. High school age Hands4Hope participants will lead games and activities, help with homework, pass out snacks, do light cleaning, and provide extra supervision. ![]()
