Engage El Dorado

What is Engage El Dorado?

Engage El Dorado seeks local voices to participate in designing a community-informed Attainable Housing Strategic Plan. The project responds to the reality that over 3,500 low-income renters in the county lack attainable housing options, with most extremely low-income households severely cost-burdened. Through a collaborative approach between El Dorado County and the El Dorado Community Foundation, Engage El Dorado will center community voices, especially underrepresented populations, seeking feedback on housing task force recommendations, as well as understanding needs and connection between attainable housing and accessible transportation access.
