Feeding El Dorado County, One Family at a Time

As we navigate unprecedented times with seemingly insurmountable challenges, there are always those who rise up to face those challenges head on. In the true spirit of our resilient community, Feed El Dorado has stepped up to do just that. Families throughout El Dorado County are struggling in many ways but nobody should struggle to feed themselves and their families. To help ensure that no one goes hungry in these uncertain times, Feed El Dorado, partnered with the Placer Food Bank, has served 4,069 individuals on the Western Slope of El Dorado County in September and October alone. Of the over 4,000 individuals fed, over 2,500 of them were some of our community’s most vulnerable including seniors, veterans, and children.

Virtually everyone can fall on hard times and sometimes all that is needed is a helping hand to pick us back up again. Feed El Dorado is reaching out through food distribution events to provide that helping hand.
